You Must Know This Before You Watch Sonic Movie

Paramount and Sega are quite brave in taking big risks for this film especially after we know the film is experiencing a delay because the Sonic character model is too realistic. Paramount Pictures changed the shape of the previously horrifying Sonic character to resemble the original character in video games and fans were very happy about it.

Ben Schwartz was successful in filling Sonic’s voice which was similar to the original character from Sonic himself and James Marsden who played Tom Wachowski, a policeman, as well as Sonic’s side-kick, was also quite good during the film.

The villain, Dr. Robotnik, played by Jim Carrey, has a very memorable act and he deserves to be included in the list of iconic villains. Then, there are several other actors who had their respective moments that were quite memorable throughout the film.

Broadly speaking, this is the origin story of Sonic with a storyline style of the Deadpool with the PG-13 rating that is presented nicely. The message of friendship conveyed by the film is easy to understand, the selection of jokes in the film is also still acceptable, elements of the original video games (such as the use of rings, stages in games) are included also according to the film’s needs, and a number of easter eggs appear from pop cultures during the heyday of the Sega Genesis console to add nostalgia. If you want to feel such a nostalgia soon, we suggest you watch this movie on https://deadline.com/2019/10/vince-vaughn-netflix-action-adventure-comedy-film-anders-holm-1202765019/.

This Is The Synopsys Of “1917”

At the height of the First World War, two young British soldiers, Schofield and Blake, were given the almost impossible task of crossing enemy territory to deliver a message to stop the attack. This task was given after an ambush in one of the battles after German troops retreated to the Hindenburg Line in Operation Alberich.

The warning was given in the hope of preventing the deaths of around 1,600 soldiers, one of them being Blake’s younger brother. Schofield and Blake have to go through many obstacles to complete the mission and survive the war. 1917 is a war drama film directed and written by Sam Mendes. Previously, he was known through Skyfall, Revolutionary Road, Specter, and American Beauty and he won an Oscar.

This movie has a mixture of casts from new and senior actresses, and of course, you probably know about Benedict Cumberbatch from his role as Doctor Strange in Marvel movies. Sam Mendes made 1917 because it was inspired by the story told by his grandfather, Alfred Mendes, who was a messenger during World War I.

Although this film was dedicated to his grandfather, 1917 was entirely a fictional story that he made with a writer named Krysty Wilson-Cairns.

The “1917” Movie Uses An Excellent Camera Shooting Technique

The “1917” movie actually has a “normal” story, and it’s not too special. The story is that there were two young British soldiers, Schofield (George MacKay) and Blake (Dean-Charles Chapman), who was given the task. They both had to cross German territory to deliver an important message to the regiment of the British army. If the message is delivered, they can prevent the death of around 1,600 soldiers, one of them is Blake’s brother.

The factor that made this film excellent and it was able to produce nominations, as well as prestigious awards, was its execution. Sam Mendes who acted as director, producer, and scriptwriter worked in 1917 with a one-shot technique.

With a one-shot shooting technique, viewers will see the film from beginning to end through a camera point of view. Throughout the film the camera is operated, the camera person must move to follow the actors who move during the story.

Of course, it’s not easy, either for the actor or camera person. If the actor is wrong or forgets the dialogue and the camera person moves the camera wrongly, the recorded scene has to be repeated.

Not to mention the camera person must move slowly so that the image does not shake. Even though there is now a tool for balancing the camera, the one-shot technique is still not easy to apply. It requires patience and careful preparation.

Even so, 1917 did not really apply the one-shot technique as a whole from the beginning to the end of the film with a duration of 119 minutes. However, 1917 showed a film that felt like it was taken with one camera.

There are several scenes in this film that feels one-shot shooting stops to be reconnected. Like when the camera is more focused on objects that exist rather than actors who are in dialogue. Or when entering a room so dark that the screen looks black.

However, that doesn’t matter because the transition is very smooth and it doesn’t feel like it’s been edited. This movie executed its one-shot technique smoothly, so you won’t suffer from a headache when you watch it.
